Women have a very complicated relationship with their hair. It is a complicated relationship and unless you are her stylist, it is really best not to get involved. I manage to get in for a haircut maybe 3 or 4 times a year. I always look forward to going, and my favorite part is when they wash my hair and give my brain a good massage. Ah… bliss.
I went this past weekend, and when I got there, there was no shampoo girl! Times are tough everywhere. The woman who has been cutting my hair for the past 5 or 6 years washed my hair. She did an adequate job on the hair-washing, but not like the usual shampoo girl, because that girl has really strong hands. I decided to get a few inches cut off for a change. Big mistake. My new haircut now makes this my celebrity doppelgänger:

Anyone know any good hat stores?
A complicated relationship indeed. I’m going through a painful transition of growing out my hair color. It’s been so long that I actually don’t know what my natural color is. Well, my two-inch roots are revealing the brown/grey combo now, which looks just great. But I am determined to grow it out and stop with the hair coloring all together.
I’ll bet your bob looks very cute, which probably isn’t the word you were looking for, huh? ; )
It would have been cute 25 years ago. Now it is just silly. That’s okay, it will grow, right? Good luck with the big grow. Maybe you could use a color close to your brown/grey that washes out to aid in the transition. Forget I said that, It’s best not to get involved…
oh dear hahahaha
i love your hair though!
btw i’m working on reading all entries from the start until most recent updates…
but i just wonder if your favorite niece is ever mentioned…? 😉
